Ali Khatibi was born in the city of Sari in 1969. He received his B.Sc. degree in civil engineering from the Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) in 1993 and started his executive activities in the Khatam‑al Anbiya Construction Headquarters in the same year. He has 31 years of executive and managerial experience in civil engineering, ports, and mines in private and governmental sections. Mr. Khatibi was appointed as the manager of civil engineering projects and deputy managing director in the Fater Kosaran Jonoob Company in 2001. In 2007, he served as the civil and infrastructural deputy in Kish Free Zone Organization. From 2009, he was managing director of civil engineering companies for seven years. In 2016, he was appointed as the ports and Caspian affairs deputy of the Anzali trade-industrial free zone organization. Since 2018, he has continued his activities in mining as the managing director and head of the board of directors in the Mobin Mining & Road Construction Company.
