In a meeting for signing an agreement between mineral companies and HEPCO, with their managing directors on July 27, 2020, the head of the board of directors of IMIDRO added: With the presence of great mineral companies in these agreements, HEPCO will be revived. IMIDRO did its duty, supporting the HEPCO Company, and played its role as both shareholder and cooperator. Currently, two-thirds of the mining operations in iron ore, 60% of mining in copper, and production of 30% of steel of the country are conducted by large mine and mining industry companies, such as Mobarakeh, Golgohar, National Copper, and Mobin Mining and Road Construction. These companies that are beside HEPCO will play an important role in returning it to production. Admiring the cooperation of large companies with HEPCO, the head of the board of directors of IMIDRO stated: Preparation of conditions for signing five agreements between the companies and HEPCO resulted from holding seven important meetings. The Managers of the mineral companies and HEPCO had reciprocal visits of the companies of each other for 50 days to evaluate the capabilities.
